Below you'll find other yelp reviews with favorable feedback and I on the other hand, have negative feedback; start of meal to end of meal. This place is cash only and I was not told this when placing my very large order over the phone. So, upon pickup, a scramble occurred amongst the two of us to come up with the loot. Inconvenience! My main gripe here is the food though. As stated above, I had a large order as me and my guests that day were starving. Extra egg rolls, extra veggie fried rice, beef & broccoli, sesame chicken, lo mein noodles, etc. Truly, all of it was a waste. Still sitting in my fridge a day later waiting for garbage day. Fried rice = no flavor and dry Sesame Chicken = too much breading! Beef & Broccoli = meat was fatty/chewy (shudders) Egg rolls = tasted of citrus fruit?? (Yes, they did! No idea why!) Veggie Lo Mein = only thing that was somewhat edible but bland, bland, bland I won't even give this spot a second chance. I know that sounds a little harsh but I spent quite a bit of money and tried multiple items and absolutely EVERYTHING got pitched. Save your dollars!

This is by far the best Chinese restaurant I have ever eaten in my entire life I highly would not recommend eating in there it is a take-out restaurant for sure. Hands-down though if you're rich yuppie you're pry not going to alike this place if you're an everyday person you are not going to care about what the place looks like you're just going to enjoy the fact of this is straight up the best Chinese food on the planet!!!

This was my first time ordering from Wong's. We had found it by doing a search of delivery restaurants in my area. We ordered egg rolls, almond chicken, beef chow mein, General Tso's chicken, and chicken fried rice.(I love that they throw in fortune cookies without asking if you want them. It was a cute and unexpected little treat) Keep in mind that we are used to ordering from Cathay House so any Chinese place we went to would have to uphold their superior food standard. And let me tell you, they did! In fact in some areas, they surpassed Cathay House. The price was right for all the food we got, it was absolutely delicious and best of all it was delivered in a very timely manner. This place is highly recommended for anyone who is craving Chinese food and wants/needs it delivered. We will be ordering again :)

This place is a God sent! I work at a place with long hours so eating meals gets a tad tricky. I was relieved to finally find a Chinese place that delivers. The lady taking my order was super easy to understand and told the wait would be an hour. First that sounded long but it only took a little under 40 minutes so I pleasantly surprised. Even though the delivery man did not have any change on him (odd) I just let him keep the change, since I really had no choice. I had wonton soup (amazing) and sesame chicken (equally amazing). It's hard to find a decent sesame chicken downriver but this one is the best I've found. The only reason they did not get 5 stars? There was not one fortune cookie with my meal yet I got 4 packets of saltine crackers. Major sadface! I suppose they were for the soup, but still!

We have ordered here a number of times over the past couple of years, always for pick up of carry out. I haven't had any bad experiences other that my order getting mixed up and instead of being vegetarian, it had chicken in it. They're quick and the food is your standard neighborhood Chinese fare. It's always entertaining to watch the owner yell back the orders to her kitchen staff in Chinese, she is one tough fortune cookie!

Service and policy unclear. Food is just fair. Had a 50 dollar order placed for delivery. Told there would be a 2 hour wait. Since we were craving Chinese food, we agreed to the wait. 2 1/2 hours later i called to see where my order was. Driver had not come to restauraunt to get my order. They could not tell me how much longer. I waited another half hour ro see if he had come back and was told no. My food was still there. 3 hrs 15 min later, I called to cancel the order. Plenty of timeto save driver a wasted trip in the cold and not to waste food. They were very upset with me for canceling because I agreed to 2 hours but it was more than 3hours and the driver STILL HAD NOT PICKED UP THE ORDER. They blacklisted my address for futurr deliveries. As a person with disabilities it is very difficult for me to leave my home and dependent on deliveries. They would not listen.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
